Two Confined Space Standards – Which one is for you?

This session will help clarify misunderstood standings between when workers should follow General Industry Standard, 1910.146, and Construction Industry Standard, 1926 Sub-Part AA. Keeping those in mind, we will then address the importance of training your workers on the proper standard and provide ways to ensure everyone is compliant and safe.
Managing the Change
Jack Jackson, SafeStart
Understanding the attitude of management and their employees is important for any change initiative. As managers, we must understand what employees’ value, and tie those values to company initiatives. It is important management staff “walks the talk” during the implementation and throughout the change. Regardless of your safety culture, good, or bad … it didn’t happen overnight. If we are going to grow, we must be willing to change. We must make an impression if we want change to last.
