Safety is in the Air this Summer with the 811 Hot Air Balloon

The Common Ground Alliance (CGA) launched National Safe Digging Month 2017 with the
first inflation of the 811 Hot Air Balloon, which has spread the 811 safety message to hundreds of thousands of people across the country so far.

Beginning with its April 1 launch in California, the 811 Hot Air Balloon visited Major League
Baseball and United Soccer League games, the Grand Prix of Long Beach and the Las Vegas
Strip, to name just a few venues. In addition to in-person exposure, the 811 Hot Air Balloon
was featured in a San Francisco Bay Area TV news segment, and Shell-sponsored Indy Car
driver Helio Castroneves tied in 811 safety messaging to his Grand Prix media interviews.

CGA would like to thank Cox Utility Services for making this season-long campaign possible.
Please join us in thanking the following CGA members who have hosted the eye-catching 811
Hot Air Balloon at an impressive slate of events in the first half of its journey across the U.S:
