Richardson Homeowners Still Seeking Answers After Major Damage from Broken Water Line 2 Weeks Ago

It’s how some Richardson residents feel after their homes flooded two weeks ago.
They said both their home insurance companies and water utility company won’t cover for the damage caused by a broken water line.
On Thursday, looking for answers, they went to a special board meeting hosted by the North Texas Municipal Water District.
“My house was ground zero,” Ken Hutchenrider said. “The sight I saw I hope to never see again. Our entire first floor is gone.”
