Quinn’s pipeline safety bill moves to governor’s desk

A bill introduced by State Rep. Chris Quinn, R-168 of Middletown, that would require pipeline companies to share their emergency plans with first responders is now headed to the governor’s desk in the final step before becoming law.

The bill would require pipeline companies that carry natural gas liquids through highly populated areas to provide emergency response plans to local emergency providers.
