With almost a decade of experience at MISS DIG 811, Laura has a comprehensive understanding of the needs of facility owner/operators in the state. As the former Executive Assistant to the C.E.O., Laura worked with facility owners joining the system, educating on the requirements under state law PA 53 of 1974 and the new PA 174 of 2013. She recognizes the funding, staffing, and technological burden of compliance on a portion of the membership. Which is why, as Member Services Manager, Laura continues to educate facility owner/operators joining the System on damage prevention and works to create practical, innovative solutions to maximize System benefits for each member.
