George Kemp is VP of Safety & Quality Assurance for MetroNet. MetroNet is a 100% Fiber Optic Company headquartered in Evansville, Indiana. It is a customer-focused company providing cutting-edge fiber optic communication services.
George obtained undergraduate degrees in Electrical Engineering and Physics and a doctoral degree in Human Behavioral Studies.
He is honored to serve on Indiana 811’s board of directors and serve as chairman of their Damage Prevention Committee. George is the current secretary for the NTDPC. He has also had the honor of speaking on damage prevention at gas association meetings including the AGA.
When you first meet George, you come to realize he is passionate about Damage Prevention. Better communication among stakeholders and working together as a team are George’s key themes that he continues to emphasize.
