Executive Director & Chief Operating Officer, Louisiana 811
Mr. Saltzman has been employed at Louisiana 811 since 2013 and currently serves as Executive Director and Chief Operating Officer. Reporting to the Board of Directors, he has overall strategic and operational responsibility for Louisiana 811’s staff, programs and execution of its mission. Brent previously held the position of Manager-Damage Prevention and was responsible for providing presentations regarding the program’s operations, the Louisiana Underground Utilities & Facilities Damage Prevention Law (Dig Law) and digging safely.
Mr. Saltzman’s background includes work as Business Manager at EATEL Construction Company, Outside Plant Engineering Supervisor at EATEL and as Construction Manager/Public Relations at Allen Construction Company. He has served on various boards and committees including Louisiana 811, Ascension Parish Utility Council, Livingston Parish Utility Council, Association of Louisiana Utility Councils and the Capital Area Utility Risk Partnership. He is a Leadership Ascension graduate and has earned a BS Degree from Louisiana State University.
