The Roundtable Live! August 8, 2019 planetunderground.tv/the-roundtable-live-2019
ON AUGUST 8, Planet Underground held its second 811 Day celebration, known as The Roundtable Live!, a groundbreaking outdoor jobsite event featuring nearly 500 professionals from across the damage prevention industry engaged in safe excavating practices at our headquarters in Manteno, Illinois. Attendees could view, listen, share and learn firsthand from professional, skilled utility contractors, locators, engineers and others actively involved in the process of installing underground utilities.
All phases of underground excavation were part of the day’s insightful, outdoor educational event, including engineering, preplanning and site mapping, EM locating, GPR, directional drilling, hand-digging, excavation with backhoes and trackhoes, use of coring machines, vacuum excavators, aerial drones, sewer cams, trench shoring and so much more!
Roundtable Live! provides people in the industry with an opportunity to see and use the equipment they rely on every single day, and network with the people who oversee and operate these important tools for damage prevention.
Planet Underground’s winter event, The Roundtable, scheduled for Dec. 4-5, 2019, brings opportunities for networking and the exchange of ideas experienced during the summer Roundtable Live! event indoors and up close! Dedicated industry professionals from over 70 companies attended The Roundtable at Planet Underground last December, sharing a wide array of innovative ideas through unscripted, frank discussions about reducing and ultimately eliminating damages and injury from underground utility excavation.
