Oakland A’s fans may not be able to pack into the legendary Oakland Coliseum for the start of what promises to be a memorable (if unusual) MLB season, but the team has another way to get fans into seats: Cardboard cutouts, and they’re raising money for the Oakland A’s Community Fund along the way.
Fans can purchase a regular cardboard cutout for $89 or a special Foul Ball Zone cutout for $129.
The A’s have partnered with North USA 811 to create the “Call 811 Foul Ball Zone” in Sections 125-129. For every foul ball that lands anywhere in those cutout filled sections, Call 811 will donate $81.10 (up to $10,000 for the season) to the Oakland A’s Community Fund.
