New rules adopted for Colorado oil and gas flowlines

GREELEY, Colo. — The state agency that regulates the oil and gas industry in Colorado adopted new rules Thursday evening related to flowlines.

This week, the Colorado Oil and Gas Conservation Commission hosted the Flowline Rulemaking Hearings, the first of four outlined in SB 19-181. The bill also revamped the focus of the Colorado Oil & Gas Conservation Commission (COGCC) — the state commission that regulates the industry — to “regulate oil and gas activities” and not simply “foster the development of oil and gas.”…read more
