Green Bay gas leak repaired after closing parts of two east side streets Wednesday

GREEN BAY – Crews have stopped a gas leak that was affecting part of Green Bay’s east side Wednesday afternoon and had firefighters urging people to avoid the area around the Bellevue-East Mason streets intersection.

The leak was centered in the Charles Street area, about a block west and slightly south of East Mason and Bellevue, the Green Bay Metro Fire Department reported.
