Defenders: New state report triggers debate about cause of Austin home explosion

AUSTIN, Texas — A new state report unveils the Texas Railroad Commission‘s completed investigation on the Bendridge Avenue explosion last October that killed Nicole Burton and severely injured her boyfriend, David Passman.

It confirms the pipe leading to Burton and Passman’s home was more than 40 years old.
