Common Ground Alliance (CGA) is thrilled that an expected 1,000 damage prevention stakeholders are joining us for the annual CGA 811 Excavation Safety Conference & Expo at the Phoenix Convention Center, March 6-8. Many of you may be reading this article right here in Phoenix, and if that’s the case, we welcome you to an action-packed week that celebrates a year of hard work by damage prevention stakeholders and fully launches the next year ahead.
As we do every year, we’ll be gathering the industry’s
best and brightest for several days of education, training, networking and celebrations of our collective accomplishments in the shared responsibility of damage prevention. Below are some details of key highlights you’ll find if you’re joining us here in Phoenix. If you couldn’t join us this year, we hope you may be able to see us in 2019, when the event moves to Tampa, Florida for the first time.
On Monday, March 5 and Tuesday, March 6, CGA’s dedicated committee members will gather for two days of meetings. CGA invites any of its members interested in deepening their commitment to damage prevention to attend one or more committee meetings during conference week to learn about the important collaborative work they’re doing.
Annual Meeting and Breakfast
CGA invites its full membership to attend the CGA Annual Meeting and Breakfast from 7:00 a.m. – 9:30 a.m. on Wednesday, March 7 to hear about 2017 successes and key initiatives planned for 2018. In addition to hearing from CGA leadership about the
association’s business and goals, members can look forward to the unveiling of the new 811 Hot Air Balloons, a keynote address, presentations by CGA committee leadership and our annual presentation of CGA Awards.

for all event attendees from downtown Phoenix to the Culinary Dropout.
“Expo Only” and “Exhibitor” registrants may purchase a ticket to attend this event onsite in Phoenix by visiting the conference registration table, while supplies last.
Call Before You Divot Golf Outing
