911 service goes out, is restored

911 land line service affecting New Ulm, Hanska, Sleepy Eye and Springfield was reported knocked out of service at 11:17 a.m. June 4.
Telephone providers were aware of the situation and were working on it, according to a Brown County Sheriff’s Office (BCSO) news release. The outage did not affect Comfrey, the release stated.
