What’s up with That? Dominion Energy Doubling Size of Natural Gas Pipeline Through Sardine Canyon

Question: What’s up with that pipeline under construction in Sardine Canyon near Dry Lake?

Answer: Dominion Energy is replacing and doubling the size of a pipeline between Wellsville and Farr West that provides natural gas to Cache Valley.

Don Porter, senior communications specialist for Dominion Energy Utah, said the old pipe was 12 inches and the new pipe is 24 inches. He said the replacement will improve system integrity and will increase capacity to serve a growing population.
