Avoid danger when digging; call 811 first, PG&E says

So far this year, at least one gas leak in Vallejo was caused by someone accidentally hitting underground lines during a project, Pacific Gas & Electric Co. officials said.

April was National Safe Digging Month, and PG&E wants to remind people that digging accidents are an ongoing problem locally and statewide all year long.
