Tennessee811 hosts annual Emergency Response and Pipeline Safety Awareness Seminar

More than 100 attendees filled a room in Greater Dickson Gas Authority on April 19 for an annual Partners in Protecting Everyone (PIPE) interactive pipeline safety awareness seminar.

One of the simplest ways to prevent potentially dangerous issues is to call 811 before digging, explained Jason Fryer, damage prevention liaison for Tennessee811. Excavators are required by law to call the national number before digging to get existing utility lines marked and prevent potential issues with the project moving forward.
