Southwest City Schools’ fiber optic internet cables taken out by gunfire

Columbus Police now searching for a gunman who shot at cables that connect two Southwest City Schools with Internet service.

“The damage was the result of a gunshot,” said Todd Hurley, Grove City Information Services Director.

Hurley says his office was alerted early Thursday morning, service to Darby Woods Elementary School and Westland High School had been disrupted.
