Neighborhood Leadership Academy keeps residents informed

“I signed up for the Neighborhood Leadership Academy (NLA) because Las Cruces was just recognized as the sixth best-run city in the nation, and I wanted to become more involved in my community,” said Lynda Garcia. She is one of 35 residents who were accepted into the city’s first-ever NLA – 15 once-a-week classes exposing residents to city departments.
